Summary:
Based on the classic tale by Homer, The Odyssey is a humorous retelling of the misadventures of Odysseus, the great hero of the Trojan War. On his way home from Troy, Odysseus’s sailors anger the gods and as punishment, leave him stranded far away from his home of Ithaca, his faithful wife Penelope, and his son Telemachus. Meanwhile, in Ithaca, a rowdy group of suitors occupy his estate and pressure Penelope to remarry. With the aid of the goddess Athena, his son Telemachus sets out on a quest to prove his valor. Will he save his mother from the suitors and bring his father safely home?
